I help heritage brands close the gap between their strategy and what they deliver.

The Gap

Your strategy points forward.
Your business is still delivering the past

Most heritage brands don't stall because of a weak brand or lack of ambition. They stall because the organisation keeps delivering for yesterday's customer while the strategy points somewhere else. The gap between the two is where growth gets lost.

Background

My advice is based on real experience — modernising top European heritage brands from the inside.

At Fiskars Group I was VP and Executive Management Team member, responsible for transforming a portfolio of twelve brands. Before that, Head of Design at Bang & Olufsen and Lead Innovation Manager at Egmont. Every company I worked for was over a hundred years old.

I build on these learnings every day.

Where I usually come in

Most heritage brands recognise at least one of these

• Your strategy has clear priorities. But the organisation keeps delivering what it always has.

• Your best customers are ageing. The next generation isn't arriving.

• You know who the next audience is. But your products aren't serving them yet.

• The business has been built on instinct and craft. Now you need the operating logic to scale it.

How I work

Two ways to get started

Most engagements begin with one of these

The Clarity Sprint

There is often a gap between strategy and what actually goes into the market. I conduct interviews with leadership and teams, analyse portfolio, brand and commercial performance, and identify where the gaps are. The findings are presented in a workshop that ends with clear actions to create value.

Not a report. A shared picture of where the real gaps are — and the actions the leadership team commits to in the room.

Investment on request.

Most of the work starts in the same place. A gap between what leadership has decided and what the organisation is actually delivering.

I work embedded — inside the leadership team, not outside it. No junior staff. No methodology applied regardless of the situation. Just focused work on the problem that actually matters. And you get the person who has done this twelve times — not the person they send in their place.

Structure

Building the operating model, ways of working, and cadence to make change happen consistently — season after season.

Clarity

Identifying the gap between strategy and what's actually being delivered. The misalignment builds gradually inside the organisation — and becomes invisible. We name it and agree on what needs to change first.

Direction

Defining where the brand plays next. New categories, portfolio decisions, and the briefs that give your teams something sharp enough to build from.

Some clients need all three. Most start with one.
